Year 6 went to the Isle of Wight
Year 6 pupils from Millbank Academy went to the Isle of Wight last week on a residential trip.
They took a boat across the water, a stair lift took them up into the air, from the Alum Bay cliffs down to the beach below, taking in the picturesque surroundings of the Lighthouse and Needles Rocks.
Pupils also visited the iconic Osborne House, a beautiful stately home, located in stunning surroundings. This was a holiday home for Prince Albert and Queen Victoria in the Nineteenth Century. Pupils took in the splendour of the house, while learning about its history, and examining its personal treasures.
